Two papers submitted by Habtec have been accepted to be presented at the VII Brazilian Forum of Environmental Education, which will be held this month of March at the Salvador Convention Center in the city of Salvador, Bahia.

Environmental License for Thermoelectric Power Plant in Bahia is Attained

Habtec developed the environmental studies that resulted in the attainment of the Environmental License necessary for the UTE Barra do Rocha I Thermoelectric Power Plant to operate from INEMA, the environmental agency in the State of Bahia.

Habtec Opens a Branch Office in Itaboraí

In January, 2012, the process of opening a new office in Itaboraí/ RJ was finalized, with the goal of attending to the activities at the Rio de Janeiro State Petrochemical Complex – Complexo Petroquímico do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (COMPERJ).

Habtec was founded in 1990 and has been a pioneer in environmental engineering consultancy ever since. Over its 21 years of experience, Habtec has been directing its forces to adopt management mechanisms for the company, aiming to perfect its productive and management processes.

In 2010, the company obtained the Quality Management System Certificate for from the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms – ABNT, following the principles of NBR ISO 2001:2008. This Certificate has guided Habtec to improve performance within its productive processes and increase the satisfaction of its clients.

In this way, Habtec has been improving its level of versatility and competitiveness in order to attend to the needs of its clients, utilizing specialised technology to attend to the most diverse sectors of the economy including: energy, industrial, oil and gas (onshore and offshore), infrastructure, mining, sanitation, and water resources, among others.
